About the site

The site is operated by the Mid Lancs Badminton League, a volunteer-run local sports league. It exists to publish fixtures, results, league tables, club information and news for the benefit of members and the wider badminton community.

Content and accuracy

We do our best to make sure that everything published on the site is accurate and up to date. However, we make no guarantees. Match results, fixtures and standings are submitted by clubs and processed by volunteers, and may occasionally contain mistakes. If you spot an error, please let us know.

Fixtures may be moved, cancelled or rescheduled at short notice. Always check with your club or the venue before travelling.

Your account (if you have one)

If you are given login credentials (as a Club Representative, Committee member or Administrator) you are responsible for keeping them secure and for anything done under your account. Do not share your password. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its underlying infrastructure
• Interfere with, disrupt or place unreasonable load on the site (including automated scraping without permission)
• Submit false or misleading match information
• Post or transmit any content that is defamatory, abusive, harassing, obscene, or that infringes the rights of others

Intellectual property

The site design, logo, name and original written content are the property of the Mid Lancs Badminton League. You may share links to public pages freely. Please do not republish substantial portions of our content without permission — but you're very welcome to ask.

Club names, badges and player names remain the property of their respective owners.

Third-party links

The site may contain links to third-party websites (for example club websites or Badminton England). We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of any external site.

Availability

We try to keep the site available 24/7 but do not guarantee it. The site may be unavailable during maintenance, updates or due to circumstances outside our control.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Mid Lancs Badminton League, its committee members and volunteers accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site — including any reliance placed on information published on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
